Updates on Brinlee

Brinlee is going to be six months old on July 14th. I can't believe how fast everything is going. It makes me sad. I just want her to be my little baby forever. She is such a good baby. She rolled over for the first time by herself on June 7th. She was so proud of herself. She is now experimenting with tasting different things. She likes BBQ chip flavoring, cantelope, carrots, watermelon, baby mush, apple juice, and pretty much anything that mom or dad will let her get into her mouth. Her new favorite thing to do is to jump around in her jumper. It is pretty cute. She can't really jump very well yet, so she pivots one foot and spins around and then reverses and pivots the other foot and spins the other way. It makes me dizzy to watch her, but it makes her laugh a lot. We love her very much and are very blessed to have such a wonderful little girl to call our own. Crashed Cady

The other day MaCady had a little pool party with her friends Makya and Kylee Lau who live next door to Grandma Fay. She played hard all day and when i finally got her home and out of the sun she was pooped. She went to her room to watch some cartoons and just relax and when i checked on her not five minutes later, this is what i found.

Cammi Our New Kitten

My husband is a big cat person so i finally broke down and let him get a cat. We got her from one of Jackie's friends. She was a barn kitten so we are hoping she will be a good mouser. Her are some pictures of her running around our house.

She Loves Doug and is always following him around. She loves to go and curl up on him and sleep. He didn't even know she was there when i woke him up to send him to bed, but i had to get the pictures cause it was soo cute.

Cammi also loves to torture my poor little Brin. Brinlee loves it though. She is continually rolling around my house trying to catch the kitty. And when she does, mom has to be pretty fast or we end up with a wet cat or a bleeding baby. YIKES!! Thats the only bad thing about having a kitten, claws!! They are coming out soon! Her are a few pictures of the kitty playing with Brins toys while Brin is sitting there sucking her thumb not really caring.

MaCadys Recital

One May 17th MaCady had her last dance recital for the year. It was really cute and she did an awesome job. We had practice earlier that morning and she did okay, but when we got to the real thing that night she was great. She was one of the only girls that actually knew the dance and did what Sue had taught her. One of the dances was to one of the songs on the Disney movie Cars and they were the blue car (Porsche). At one part they are supposed to walk around the stage in a circle like they are going for a drive in their cars, MaCady was the leader, and she was they only one who went, none of the other girls followed. It was way cute. Also, during practice at the end of the songs they were told to just sit there until the curtain closed, well MaCady had different plans for the recital. At the end of both of her dances, she got up took a bow and walked off the stage by herself. It was hilarious. Everyone asked me as we were leaving if she was going to steal the show every year. I just laughed and told them we will see what happens next year. Her cousin Kaitlin came over to our house with her mom to get the girls ready. Thanks Nicole for doing MaCady's hair. They both looked way cute. Here are a few pictures of that night. Oh, one really major thing happening in her life right now is that we just got a new kitten. She is obsessed about where the kitten is and what it is doing. Its cute, but i feel bad for the poor kitten. Also, she is a great big sister. Brinlee just loves her big sis.

Brins Personality

I totally love it when you finally get past the newborn baby stage and into the stage where they are learning lots of new things. They start to giggle, talk a little, smile, and grab things with their hands. Brin is finally to that stage and i just love it. She discovered her toes and laughs hysterically when you take off her socks to find her pigs. She is also starting to teeth, so finding her smiles is becoming a little more difficult. All she wants to do is chew on everything and anyone who gets close enough to her mouth. Her are a few updated pictures of her. The last one is of her sleeping in her big crib. She looks so tiny in there.

Summer!

Hello to all. Sorry i haven't posted a new blog in a while. It has been crazy running around here and trying to keep up with my two little girls. Plus now that it is summer we have yard work to do, lots of laundry ( like always), walks to the park, and lots of hamburgers or hot dogs to BBQ. So as you can see, i haven't had much time to blog. I will try in the next day or two to get some way cute pictures of MaCady's dance recital up so you can see how cute she was. She did awesome. Talk to you all soon.
